Explore Nebraska City
We don’t have everything. But we do have a lot of things. And almost all those things qualify as being a hoot. So unless you really had your heart set on a drive-thru dinosaur safari with pigs dressed as stegosauruses called Jurassic Pork, you’ll find more than a few things worthy of your time.
Tree Adventure at Arbor Day Farm
At Arbor Day Farm Tree Adventure, there’s something new to discover in every season. Pick apples in the orchard; climb a tree house 50 feet high; play in the Nature Explore Classroom. Take a ride on the Discovery Ride through the forest, and jump on the gigantic WonderNet!
Arbor Lodge
This estate was the original home of J. Sterling Morton, who thought of Arbor Day in 1872. From its beginning in 1855 as a four-room frame house, the mansion grew to 52 rooms through several renovations. Authentic furnishings and historical artifacts grace the rooms and capture the life and times of this man.
