Sustainability, Art and YOU – Dinner and Artist Talk at Whispering Pines Bed and Breakfast

Join us for a talk about Sustainability, Art and YOU and a Farm to Table Meal


Artist Bug Davidson, an artist in residence at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, leads a discussion on contemporary art and sustainability followed by a survey on your personal thoughts and habits around the subject.

Topics include agriculture and food systems, tradition, climate and energy, materials and design, restoration and waste. Expect a fast paced fun overview of ways to address a sustainable future that includes ideas that matter to YOU!

All this while enjoying the first Spring Harvest Farm to Table meal of the season at Whispering Pines Bed and Breakfast.  All foods will be locally sourced and the menu will be determined closer to the event date when we know what is ready.  Weather permitting, we’ll dine outside and enjoy the Spring Day!

Sunday Brunch with Santa at Lied Lodge – Dec. 7, 14, & 21

One of Santa’s favorite stops is in front of the fireplace in the Lied Lodge lobby — and he’ll be here on December 7, 14, and 21.

Bring your children for this holiday tradition and enjoy live holiday tunes played on the grand piano and a Sunday Brunch Buffet, served 11am – 2pm in the Timber Dining Room at Lied Lodge. The younger set will appreciate kid-friendly buffet items like macaroni & cheese, mini corn dogs, cookies and more.

Brunch with Santa is offered on December 7, 14, and 21; price is $18 for adults, $9 for age 5-12. Children age four and younger dine free.
