A small-town celebration of freedom the way George Washington intended. Complete with an hour-long fireworks extravaganza of, yes, extravagant proportions, with over 600 aerials and 14 ground displays set to music.

New in 2021…TREESTOCK! It’s an all-day live concert featuring regional acts of folk, country, R&B, and Latin music!

Description: Independence Day 2021 in Nebraska City is going to be epic! Join us for the first ever TREESTOCK - an Arbor Day 150 event featuring LIVE music, family fun, and a beer garden...and then stay for the annual Nebraska City Jaycees Fireworks Show. It's a FREE admission event happening in Steinhart Park! Featured performers staring at 1pm: 2020 International Blues Challenge Champion Hector Anchondo Band(full band, horn section), along with Nebraska City favorite Mike Semrad & the Riverhawks, Honky Tonk guitar slinger Lucas Minor Music, and Nebraska roots sensations Jack Hotel.

Family Fun Day at Bethel Church


Time: 1 to 9 p.m.
Location: Bethel Church, 2400 Central Avenue
Description: Be a part of the Fourth of July fun, Saturday, July 3rd, at Bethel Church! Three Bounce Houses for the kiddos, teens AND adults; food vendors; ice cold watermelon; ice cold bottled water; and a DUNK TANK! Test your throwing skills and see if you can dunk Pastor Keith, B-103's News Director Dan Swanson, Senator Julie Slama, and others! The fun starts at 1pm and goes until 9pm; plenty of time for you to catch the fireworks! Feel free to use our parking lot for a free-will donation!
