In celebration of women, mothers, and especially the Women of Arbor Lodge, this special exhibit will include historic photographs and biographies of Morton women, as well as needlework linens and other handmade items to showcase the historic skills women used to beautify their homes over the years.

Living History Weekend – Wheels of Transportation at Arbor Lodge State Historical Park
Step back in time to see historic trades, talents, and other demonstrations come alive inside the mansion and out on the beautiful grounds of Nebraska City’s National Historic Landmark.
Join us September 30 and October 1 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. for Living History Weekend’s Wheels of Transportation. Celebrate the history of how we got from here to there using horses, trains, carriages, bicycles, tractors, and automobiles. Enjoy special displays and demonstrations including Morton Family ties to early roads, the overland trail, wagon train dolls, antique cars, and much more!
Admission to the park is free and no longer requires a park entry permit; mansion admission is $8 adults, $6 youth (age 3-12).
