Arbor Lodge Christmas Tea

Enjoy Christmas at the Mansion with a special Christmas Tea. Guests will enjoy tea delicacies and beverages in the beautiful sunroom, while learning how the Morton family celebrated Christmas. In addition to the tea, participants can tour Arbor Lodge.

Two tea times are available: 11 a.m.-12 p.m. and 3 p.m.-4 p.m. Reservations are required as space is limited. Questions? Valentine’s Tea at Arbor Lodge Mansion

Join us in the sunroom of Arbor Lodge Mansion for a special Valentine’s Tea during Celebrate Love Month. Enjoy an assortment of teas and dainty brunch and dessert selections, along with musical entertainment and a brief history of Valentine’s Day greetings. In addition to the tea, participants can explore the mansion and view the special “Celebrate Love” exhibit, featuring displays of Morton Family weddings and vintage Valentine card collections.

Reservations for the tea are required by February 12 and can be made by calling 402-873-7222. Cost is $18 per person and includes your mansion admission and entrance to the tea.

Civil War Reenactment at Arbor Lodge

Join us at Arbor Lodge State Historical Park on June 25 & 26, as Civil War reenactors return to Nebraska City. View a Civil War encampment throughout the weekend complete with programs and demonstrations.

On Saturday, The First Nebraska Infantry, Company A will setup camp at Arbor Lodge and join other demonstrators for activities at Nebraska City’s Civil War Museum. Sunday, view various demonstrations and share in the history at their encampment.

All across this 260-acre campus, opportunities abound to play, learn, taste, and shop – all in celebration of trees.

At the Tree Adventure, open 9am to 5pm:
•Tree climbing; music; face painting; assorted hands-on activities and learning opportunities for all ages.
•Climb aboard the Discovery Ride – an informative and fun guided journey into the backwoods of Arbor Day Farm.
•Tree Adventure admission: $8 adults; $6 youth (age 3-12).
Includes a tree seedling to plant at home.

At the Historic Barns, open Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm:
Find hand-crafted treasures at the multi-vendor Craft Fair.

At the Apple House Market and Pie Garden, open 9am to 5pm:
