Feathered Friends at Arbor Lodge

Did you know that Bird Day was once a holiday celebrated along with Arbor Day? Bird Day was designed as a special celebration for school children to learn more about birds as part of their nature study. While serving as U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, J. Sterling Morton helped promote the two observances together.

Delve into this now-forgotten holiday, learn about birds, and participate in a feathered friends scavenger hunt throughout the 52-room Arbor Lodge Mansion.

Open Tuesday-Sunday; mansion admission is $9 adults, $7 children (age 3-12). Questions? Call Arbor Lodge at 402-873-7222.

ALL ATTRACTIONS ARE CLOSED ON MONDAYS.
