Nebraska City, Nebraska is one of approximately 2000 cities across the United States that has chosen to provide its own electricity through a not-for-profit, publically owned utility. We do this united in the spirit of Nebraska being a Public Power state and this allows us to round out the four basic services including Electrical, Natural Gas, Potable water, and sanitary waste water collection and treatment that we provide for the Nebraska City community. We also reach out and provide water, Natural Gas, and Electricity to neighbors in Otoe County, Extreme eastern Lancaster County and Northern Nemaha county. We are pure and simply neighbors helping neighbors .
