on Wednesday, May 14, from 8 to 9 a.m. in the Kimmel Gallery at the Morton-James Public Library (923 1st Corso).

Hot Topics is a bi-monthly forum designed to foster conversation about current events in and around our community.

Hot Topics is open to the public.

The subject for the May Hot Topics is the current childcare crisis. We will have a representative from an in-home daycare, a center, and SENCA Headstart – along with Dan Mauk from NCAEDC – to speak on the truth of how bad this crisis really is. This will be following the “Day Without Childcare” happening May 12 when daycare providers are closing their doors so the workforce can see the value.
