Great American Clean-up – Keep Nebraska City Beautiful

SEEKING VOLUNTEERS
July 15, 2020• 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Meet in the Sunken Parking Lot, Downtown at 712 Central Ave.
Business leaders, government officials, boy & girl scout troops, schools, clubs, civic leagues,
church groups, sports teams, families, and individuals needed.
Places to clean: downtown bump-outs, South 11th Street,
north entrance to Nebraska City, North 11th Street, and all city parks.
We will be practicing Social Distancing while picking up garbage, so, grab a bottle of water and a trash bag and then start cleaning. Garbage bags will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and we have some grabbers for borrowing. American Recycling and Sanitation is donating a dumpster in the Sunken Parking Lot for all trash to be put into from Monday, July 13 – Friday, July 17, 2020. Volunteers may also deliver event trash directly to American Recycling and Sanitation free of charge; volunteers must mention the Great American Cleanup for free drop off.
