Did you know National Doll Day is the first Sunday in August? Celebrate National Doll Day throughout the month of August with an exhibit about the history behind this beloved toy. Men and women, and children of all ages have special memories about childhood dolls and action figures. J. Sterling Morton had the largest orchard in Nebraska by 1857. Morton Apples won awards at numerous fairs and exhibitions. Learn about apple varieties planted, as well as history of Morton Orchard, Porter Orchard, and Arbor Day Farm. Guests will also learn about Morton's farm crops and employees.
