It’s time for Nebraska City’s 10^th Annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest! Participating businesses display a scarecrow outside of their business and voters select a winner.

Businesses: if you plan to participate, sign up HERE by Friday, October 10.

Please have your scarecrow ready to go by Wednesday, October 15.

Voting is done online. Photographs of each scarecrow will be able to be viewed on the Nebraska City Tourism & Commerce Facebook page; voters can indicate their favorite by “liking” that specific scarecrow’s image. The scarecrow with the most “likes” at the end of the month will be named the People’s Choice. In addition, a panel of judges will select an overall winner.

Online voting begins Friday, October 17.
