The Steamboat Trace Trail is a former Burlington Northern Railroad corridor snaking up the eastern border of Nebraska from Brownville, through Peru, and terminating just south of Nebraska City.  The path itself is rich in culture, heritage, history, and nature.

The Steamboat Trace Bike Ride & Festival is an annual fall event with the objective to raise awareness about the trail and raise funds to expand it and make improvements.

Special events will be held in Nebraska City, Peru, and Brownville on Saturday, October 6, providing neat opportunities to foster community involvement and pride in our state.  A family bike ride on the Steamboat Trace Trail connects the communities and cultures  together.
