Join with family and friends in a fun-for-all ages scavenger hunt to discover where the reindeer are hiding along the Tree House Trail. Then use our special mailbox to send a letter to Santa to let him know where to find his reindeer in time for his Christmas ride!

We’re celebrating no-scare Halloween fun at the Tree Adventure, and you’re invited!

Hayrack Ride, Storytelling & S’mores

Weekends this fall through Lied Lodge & Conference Center – the entire family will enjoy a mash-up of Arbor Day Farm’s most beloved fall season activities: hayrack rides, storytelling & s’mores!

On Friday and Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 27 thru Nov. 9, climb aboard a hayrack at the Lied Lodge lobby. Travel to Arbor Day Farm’s Morton Oak tree, where you’ll sip hot chocolate and apple cider, enjoy a hot dog, make s’mores, and listen to tales from a storyteller, before returning to Lied Lodge.

Come and see one of nature’s best shows. Bring your camera and grab a seat aboard the Discovery Ride for a memorable visit to Arbor Day Farm Tree Adventure. Discovery Rides are Monday through Friday at 1:00 p.m. and on weekends at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The bloom typically occurs in early- to mid-August and lasts about two weeks depending on weather. Smokey Bear’s 75th Birthday Celebration at Arbor Day Farm

Smokey Bear is turning 75 this year, and we want to celebrate! Smokey himself will be joining us along with Nebraska City Firefighters for photo opportunities and a chance to see a Big Red Firetruck! On June 29, the state Fire Marshall’s crew will also be on hand with their smoke trailer to let children practice fire safety in a safe, but realistic environment.

Enjoy a birthday treat at the Apple House Market, and explore the history of Smokey Bear through a special exhibit at Arbor Lodge Mansion. Sunset & S’mores at Tree Adventure

Climb aboard for a guided, Sunset Discovery Ride as you journey through the orchards and vineyards at Arbor Day Farm. Following the ride, gather ’round for a twilight bonfire complete with make-your-own s’mores.

The Discovery Ride departs at 7:00 p.m. with the bonfire and s’mores following the ride. Cost includes your Tree Adventure admission, your ticket for the Discovery Ride, the bonfire, make-your-own s’mores, and bottled water.

Father’s Day Exhibit at Arbor Lodge Mansion

Your dad will appreciate the special Father’s Day exhibit at Arbor Lodge State Historical Park on Father’s Day weekend, June 16–17. View historic photographs of Morton family fathers and sons. Plus see a special display featuring Joy Morton’s sword collection, many of which were purchased during his world travels. These unique, old-world treasures reveal detailed craftsmanship.

Weekends this fall through Lied Lodge & Conference Center – the entire family will enjoy a mash-up of Arbor Day Farm’s most beloved fall season activities: hayrack rides, cider, s’mores and storytelling!

On Friday and Saturday evenings, Sept. 22 thru Nov. 11, climb aboard a hayrack at the Lied Lodge lobby. Travel to Arbor Day Farm’s Morton Oak tree, where you’ll sip hot apple cider, make s’mores, and enjoy tales from a storyteller, and then return to Lied Lodge.
