Celebrate the season with a special Holiday After Hours at the Apple House Market and Tree Adventure!

Wrap up your holiday shopping with a warm and cozy evening at the Apple House Market filled with unique gifts, twinkling lights, live holiday music, and a tasty variety of free samples. We’ll have the fireplace lit, the wine bar open, hot apple cider ready to go, and warm apple pie available by the slice.

At the Tree Adventure, experience a magical evening featuring half-price admission (adults $7, kids 3-12 $6, 2 and under free) and Treetop Village all aglow in holiday lights. Plus take part in the Santa’s Lost Reindeer activity and 12 Days of Christmas Elf Hunt! Round out your adventure with a cup of hot Arbor Day Farm apple cider for the perfect complement to holiday fun among the trees.

Arbor Day Celebration 2016 at Arbor Day Farm

Celebrate the tree planter’s holiday where it all began — right here at Arbor Day Farm, Nebraska City.

Celebrate at Arbor Day Farm:
All across this 260-acre campus, opportunities abound to play, learn, taste, and shop – all in celebration of trees.

At the Tree Adventure, open 9am to 5pm:
•Tree climbing; music; face painting; assorted hands-on activities and learning opportunities for all ages.
•Climb aboard the Discovery Ride – an informative and fun guided journey into the backwoods of Arbor Day Farm.
•Tree Adventure admission: $8 adults; $6 youth (age 3-12).
Includes a tree seedling to plant at home.

At the Historic Barns, open Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm:
Find hand-crafted treasures at the multi-vendor Craft Fair.

At the Apple House Market and Pie Garden, open 9am to 5pm:
Sip Arbor Day Farm’s newest wine varieties while you shop for jams, jellies, salsa, honey, pies, and other tasty treats. Enjoy an apple slushee and light lunch.

At Lied Lodge:

Arbor Lodge State Historical Park:

Take an inspiring, up-close look at the life and legacy of J. Sterling Morton, the founder of Arbor Day.
