Love, The Locals is hitting the road for a special fall Makers Market at Arbor Day Farm! There’s no better way to enjoy the first weekend of the AppleJack Festival than by shopping small and local from a curated list of makers and small businesses. Discover an amazing array of unique, handmade items in the beautiful setting of the Historic Barns. Enjoy a day with your family and friends, take a road trip with your crew, and leave the rest to us! Wine Tasting at the Historic Barns

Sip, savor, and enjoy Arbor Day Farm’s delightful selection of wines. Join us in the Historic Barns Arbor Day Weekend for wine tasting, yard games, and a chance to relax under the trees.

Available Saturday at 11 a.m. – 7 pm. and Sunday at 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Wine tastings are $8 for four tastes and the wine glass is yours to keep. It’s a great way to celebrate spring and find your new favorite Arbor Day wine.

Hard Cider Tasting at Arbor Day Farm

For your convenience, the Tree Adventure, Arbor Lodge Mansion, Wine Tasting, and Hard Cider Tasting will require tickets for admission. We strongly recommend you purchase tickets in advance online. Space will be limited to help ensure safe social distancing. We cannot guarantee entrance to these attractions/activities without a pre-purchased ticket. Music at the Barns with Daybreak

Spread out in the beautiful setting of the Historic Morton Barns and enjoy a fall evening filled with live music from Daybreak. One of Omaha’s most popular cover bands, Daybreak specializes in crowd-pleasing tunes from the classic rock, pop rock, and country rock genres.

Tickets go on sale September 5 and are $10 for adults; $5 for kids 3-12; and free for kids 2 and under. Purchase tickets in advance at arbordayfarm.showclix.com. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Porter’s barbecue available until 10 p.m.

Seating is limited, so bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show!

Celebrate the tastes of the apple harvest with a hard cider tasting experience at the Historic Morton Barns. Representatives from Saro Cider in Lincoln, Nebraska, will be on hand to talk about the cider-making process and help you navigate your way through the crisp and delightful offerings

Purchase tickets in advance at arbordayfarm.showclix.com. Tickets will be available two weeks in advance and are $8 for 4 tastings. Tasting sessions will be held every 90 minutes between 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. You must be 21 years or older to participate in this event.

During the tasting, we will be sampling three Saro Cider favorites, including Sanibel Grapefruit, Miami Orange Shandy, and Three Sisters, as well as Joy Harvest — a limited variety made collaboratively with Arbor Day Farm for this year’s AppleJack celebration.

Celebrate the tree planter’s holiday where it all began — right here at Arbor Day Farm, Nebraska City.

Celebrate at Arbor Day Farm:
All across this 260-acre campus, opportunities abound to play, learn, taste, and shop – all in celebration of trees.

At the Tree Adventure, open 9am to 5pm:
•Tree climbing; music; face painting; assorted hands-on activities and learning opportunities for all ages.
•Climb aboard the Discovery Ride – an informative and fun guided journey into the backwoods of Arbor Day Farm.
