AppleJack Weekend tastings will take place in the Depot area near the Tree Adventure. Just look for the signs, grab your tasting, and sit back and relax while looking over the beautiful Arbor Day Farm orchard.

“Strings and Things” performs a variety of musical styles including bluegrass, gospel, classical, Irish, renaissance, wedding, world music, traditional American dance and holiday music. They have performed for countless conventions, parties, banquets, barn dance, hoedowns, hayrack rides, county fairs, festivals, museums, schools, churches, etc. They also specialize in audience participation with items including washtub bass, washboard, musical spoons and clog dancing puppets.

We also are having a doll giveaway. There are 4 wedding themed dolls from the 1940’s that we will be having a drawing for.

Music at the Barns with Daybreak

Spread out in the beautiful setting of the Historic Morton Barns and enjoy a fall evening filled with live music from Daybreak. One of Omaha’s most popular cover bands, Daybreak specializes in crowd-pleasing tunes from the classic rock, pop rock, and country rock genres.

Celebrate the tastes of the apple harvest with a hard cider tasting experience at the Historic Morton Barns. Representatives from Saro Cider in Lincoln, Nebraska, will be on hand to talk about the cider-making process and help you navigate your way through the crisp and delightful offerings

Harvest Celebration

The Harvest Celebration (including four weekends of AppleJack activities) is still on despite the recent fire at Porter’s and the Apple House Market! Join us throughout September and October for special events and activities, including wine tasting, hard cider tasting, live music, and more. Play among the trees, explore history, walk the trails, purchase apples and pumpkins, and savor classic apple treats.

Because of capacity and social distancing requirements, we will be spreading out our regular AppleJack activities throughout the fall season. At the Tree Adventure:
• Pick your own apples in the orchard.
• Climb aboard the Discovery Ride with a stop in the Preservation Orchard. Rides depart hourly, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Admission: $8 adults, $6 youth (ages 3-12). Discovery Ride tickets are an additional $5 per person.
