Mobile Digitization Lab Available @ the Temporary Library Location American National Bank Basement Level

April 22, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Dr. Jason Heppler, Digital Engagement Librarian in Archives and Special Collections for UNO Libraries, will be in Nebraska City on Monday, April 22, to kick off Preservation Week 2019. He oversees the “Mobile Digitization for Rural Community Archives” project, an initiative offered by UNO to rural communities. This pilot project includes a mobile digitization lab supported by the Catalyst Fund. UNO staff will also be available on Tuesday, April 23. They will have scanners and digital cameras to take images of documents and objects you would like to have in a digital format. We invite you to bring your items and a flash drive or CD on which to save your information. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about digitizing (and preserving) materials from experts!
